About
Hello!
My name is Michelle Day - a Carson Valley native and Douglas High School graduate. I have been blessed to have grown up surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery Nevada has to offer. From the wild desert of the Pinenut Mountains, to the snow-capped Sierra Nevada Range, to spectacular Lake Tahoe, there is truly no place like home.

After graduating from DHS, I attended Western Nevada College and focused my studies on an Associates in Criminal Justice. Shortly after, I found myself seeking a new adventure and decided to join the U.S. Air Force in 2012. My military service began as Security Forces while being stationed in Colorado and I eventually relocated to Florida as a Combat Arms Instructor.

After Category 5 Hurricane Michael ripped through the Florida panhandle in 2018, it destroyed my home and countless other buildings on base. It was then that I chose to Honorably Discharge from the Air Force after a successful 7 year tour. However, this ultimately pushed me to embark on a self-discovery journey I never would have experienced if the hurricane hadn't positioned me in a place to "start over".

I returned back to my beloved Carson Valley in 2019 and re-entered the civilian work force - 1st building firearms for Franklin Armory, and then moving into Security positions in Carson City, Minden, and Gardnerville. Despite my efforts to integrate back, I just couldn't shake the feeling that I was missing something.

This hunger for more eventually found me packing my things and hitting the road as a full-time nomad in my RV. During my travels I got to visit the most beautiful locations our Country has to offer - Parks, Monuments, Wildlife, and getting to know some really incredible people along the way.

Come the Winter of 2021 I followed the routine of many other Nomads and fled the snow to spend the cold season in Quartzsite, Arizona. It was here (and the breathtaking influence of the sunsets) that I found myself beginning to shift perspective. Q helped me deepen in spirituality - I felt a "home" within myself for perhaps the first time. The void I had been battling had finally softened and opened my mind to more.

Ultimately this triggered a desire to shift my focus into the direction of a more holistic lifestyle. I knew I wanted to support others in finding home within themselves and to be that bridge that could potentially help relieve their pain. Massage Therapy fit every aspect of this bill, and I soon began my schooling at National Holistic Institute in Redding, CA.

On this ride I have fallen in love with healing, and I am proud to be trained in various massage modalities customized to each client's needs. This ability to work with the human body is nothing short of magic and my hope is to provide them a calm and relaxing environment in which they can rest and rejuvenate. Thus leaving my clients with the resilience necessary to tackle any trials they may be facing.

I have 800+ hours in accredited NHI Massage Schooling, Licensed in the great state of Nevada through the Nevada State Massage Board, and am Certified in the state of California through CAMTC.

I am looking forward to bringing my massage knowledge and expertise to the Carson Valley and having the opportunity to share the nurturing power holistic living provides with my Douglas County community.
With Love,
-Michelle Day
